June 4, 2018 - The Connecticut League of History Organizations presented an Award of Merit to Neil Hogan and Patrick Mahoney for their recently published book entitled, "From a Land Beyond the Wave - Connecticut's Irish Rebels 1798-1916" at the CLHO's annual awards ceremony held at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain.
The 233-page book was written by Hogan and Patrick Mahoney (History & Culture Fellow at Drew University) to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Easter Rebellion of 1916 and to honor Connecticut Irish men and women who assisted Ireland in its centuries-long struggle for independence.
